Liezel has been in the beauty industry since 2008. It all began senior year in high school where she attended Fremont Beauty College and continued her education at Marinello School of Beauty. She was rewarded “most creative hairstylist” and “the instructor’s annual award of artistic hair designs” in her class. As well as graduating her hours of completion and receiving her cosmetology license.

Liezel specializes in up-styling and braids. She hair designs for weddings, proms, debutants, special occasions and print models. In addition, she does feed in braids for festivals/concerts and cornrow braiding for both men and women. In the past 4 years she has done over 150 weddings and have styled over 800 people. She has trained with Latia in Chicago for the “styles down the aisle” class where she learned all the basic wedding hair designs and picked up some helpful bobbi pin tricks. In addition, she has traveled around the united states to be taught by big name upstyling educators known in the united states like Laura Kaszoni, Jenny Strebe and Stephanie Binkerhoff. In these demo + hands on master classes she has learned how to style all the most recent trending wedding hairstyles and casual woman braids. Additionally, she has does a one on one training with Nubia Bernard to perfect the most popular and trending bridal hairstyle, Hollywood Waves and a one on one with Jazz (bay area’s most popular braider) to perfect cornrowing. Liezel is planning to book more classes around the world to learn different techniques, learn all the different cultural hairstyles and keep up with the trending hairstyles. As well as meeting and learning from more big name up-styling artists!!!
